SWS Honored with ABC of Georgia Safety & Silver STEP Award

The S.T.E.P. Award is presented to companies that complete a safety self-audit program created by ABC International. The audit rates each company according to not only its safety record, but also its safety and loss-prevention program. ABC of Georgia's Safety Award is presented to companies that have achieved both total recordable and lost time rates of less than half the national average.

Southern Wall Systems, Inc. was honored by BASF and Mike King & Associates at an awards dinner on Saturday, February 3, 2007 for being Finestone's top Southeast customer in 2006. December 14, 2006 The SWS Gift Drive to benefit The Jean Kirby Bowen Home at the Gwinnett Children's Shelter was a success. In addition to providing each child at the shelter with a gift card to
Shoe Carnival, a remote control Jeep (for the boys) and a Bratt Photo set (for the girls) we
raised enough money to also purchase over $100 worth of household supplies for the
shelter!

SWS Wins Excellence in Construction Award From left to right: Teresa Corso - Contract Administrator, Shane Blackburn - Senior Estimator
and Benny Sims - President Southern Wall Systems, Inc. received the 2006 Excellence in Construction Award for their work on Medieval Times @ Discover Mills at the ABC Awards Banquet held at The Twelve Hotel in Atlantic Station.
Southern Wall's Senior Estimator, Shane Blackburn, accepted the award on behalf of Southern Wall. Benny Sims and Teresa Corso of Southern Wall and Michael King of MNK & Associates along with their spouses were also present to mark this achievement.
September 13, 2006 AAlways striving to stream line it's processes and bring innovations to the EIFS, Stucco and plaster trade, Southern Wall Systems, Inc. has begun the U.S. Patent and Trademarking process on "Finishstop", a style of backer rod engineered by Benny R. Sims, President of Southern Wall Systems.
This new product is available to Southern Wall's Client's as an addition to the EIFS, Stucco and Plaster application. Stay tuned for details!
August 15, 2006 Southern Wall Systems is proud to be involved in the Southface ECO project in Atlanta, GA donating both materials and labor to this endeavor. The new ECO Office will showcase state-of-the-art energy, water and waste-reducing features many of which are manufactured right here in Georgia.
To further expand it's commitment to the environment and sound construction practices locally, Southern Wall's Teresa Corso will be attending Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design(LEED) training in September.
