About the Project

This state-of-the-art, nine-level facility houses medical oncology and surgical units. Bone-marrow transplant patients are cared for by physicians and staff from the prestigious Winship Cancer Institute.

J-Wing personnel also treat kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients within the 232-bed facility.

To protect and beautify the gleaming hospital tower, Southwest Wall Systems installed a continuously insulated hard-coat stucco finish system. The product we used, StoTherm® ei XPS, provides air and weather tightness as well as long-lasting thermal performance and durability.

The StoTherm system incorporates the StoGaurd® air and moisture barrier and market-leading insulation material made by Owens Corning or Dow Chemical (now DowDuPont).
